LEGO Pallets for Sale
So what's on a LEGO pallet? Boxed sets, City, Friends, Technic, Star Wars, plus polybags and the odd bigger build. Some sealed, plenty opened and sent back.
Most is overstock and returns from the big shops. Sets get retired every year, so retailers clear the old ones out. Plus January returns, which is a big chunk of it.
Why LEGO works
It holds value better than almost any other toy. A retired set can be worth more sealed than it cost new, and everyone in the trade knows that.
Demand stays steady all year too, then spikes hard from October. Adults buy as much as kids do these days, especially the bigger display sets.
Market traders do well with it. So do toy shops, car boot sellers, and people flipping on eBay. Bulk loose LEGO sells by weight as well, which is a decent side earner.
What to actually check
Missing pieces are the main headache with opened sets. One missing minifigure and the value drops right off. Open the boxes and check before listing anything.
Box condition matters more than you'd expect. Collectors want sharp corners and no creases, so a battered box costs you money even if the bricks inside are fine.
Watch out for fakes too. Counterfeit LEGO exists, usually the cheaper generic stuff pretending to be branded. Check the studs, the print quality, the box seals.
Instruction booklets matter as well. A complete set without instructions sells for noticeably less, though you can download most of them free.
And check which sets are actually retired. Some are properly wanted, others are still in every shop at full price.
Where you buy it
You've seen the threads. Someone pays for a LEGO pallet and it's opened boxes with half the bricks missing.
Buying through an actual distributor cuts most of that out. You get told what sets are in the load, what condition, and where it came from. Freight sorted properly. Someone real on the phone.
That's the whole thing from us. We say what we've got, send it over, and you work out whether it stacks up.
