Mixed Video Game Pallets Wholesale

So what turns up on a games pallet? Boxed games for PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, controllers, headsets, charging docks, sometimes a console or two. Some sealed, plenty opened and returned.

Most is overstock and returns from the big shops. Someone got a game for Christmas they already owned. Or a store ordered heavy on a release that flopped. Happens constantly in this business.

Why people buy these

Games hold value better than most electronics. A boxed Switch title might still fetch twenty or thirty quid years after release. Try that with a tablet.

CEX-style shops buy this way. So do market traders, eBay sellers, and people running stalls at retro fairs. Nintendo stuff especially holds its price, which everyone in the trade knows.

Accessories are quietly good money too. Controllers break constantly, so there's always demand. A returned pad that just needed pairing can sell for solid money.

What to watch for

Check the discs. Scratched, cracked, or the wrong disc in the wrong case — all common on returns. Open every case before you list anything.

Missing codes are the bigger issue with newer games. Loads of titles come with download codes that only work once. If somebody's used it, the game's worth a fraction of what you thought.

Controllers need testing properly. Drift is the main thing, especially on Switch Joy-Cons. Plug them in, move the sticks about, see what happens.

Region locking catches people out too. Some older stock is region specific and won't run on UK machines. Worth asking before you commit to a load.

And check age ratings if you're selling in shops. Selling an 18-rated game to a kid is a real legal problem, not just an awkward moment.

Where it comes from

You've read the threads. Someone buys a "games pallet" and it's empty cases, scratched discs, and dead controllers.

Buying through an actual distributor takes most of that risk out. You get told what's in the load, what state it's in, and where it came from. Freight sorted properly. Someone real on the phone when you need them.

That's the whole thing from our side. We say what we've got, send it over, and you work out if it stacks up.
