So what's actually on one of these? A mix. Some consoles, plus Joy-Cons, Pro Controllers, docks, cases, charging grips, and games.
Nearly all of it is customer returns. Someone had a fault, bought a bundle and returned part of it, or upgraded to an OLED model.
Being straight about console numbers
Switch consoles don't turn up in bulk. Nintendo keeps supply controlled, so shops rarely have surplus to clear.
Anyone offering pallets of sealed consoles cheap isn't telling you the truth. Worth knowing before you spend.
What you realistically get is a handful of returned consoles in a broader gaming load. Accessories are where the volume sits.
Why people buy anyway
Joy-Con drift is the whole business here. It's the most common fault in gaming hardware, and drifting controllers sell steadily to people who'll fix them.
Repair shops do well as a result. A drift repair takes minutes and the parts cost pennies.
Pro Controllers hold value nicely too. So do docks, which get lost and broken constantly.
Games sell well on their own, since Nintendo titles barely drop in price.
What to check
Test every console. Boot it, check the screen for cracks and dead pixels, test the dock and all ports.
Check Joy-Cons for drift specifically, and rails for wear.
Factory reset everything. Returned consoles hold accounts and personal data, and that becomes your problem.
Check serial numbers aren't scratched off, since that suggests stolen stock.
Look for missing dock cables and HDMI leads, which go astray constantly.
Where you buy it
You've seen the threads. Someone spends heavily on a "Switch pallet" and gets accessories and no consoles.
Buying through an actual distributor takes most of that out. You get told exactly what's in the load, how many consoles, what condition, and where it came from. Freight sorted properly. Someone real answering.
That's it from us. We say what we've got, send it, and you decide if it works.
